Headline: Host goes to Hollywood

South Korean monster movie Host is to get the Hollywood treatment with Magnolia Pictures set to distribute. The original, directed by Bong Joon-Ho, follows a huge amphibious mutant that emerges from Seoul's Han River and focuses its attention on attacking people. Along with splashy digital effects, the film contains assorted political barbs aimed at both the Korean and U.S. governments.
