Today's shcik news is that director Guy Ritchie has signed on to rewrite and direct a....gangster movie!

He will rewrite a script by Brad Gann for Columbia Pictures that will follow a wrongly imprisoned gang type trying to make it across town to testify against the dirty cops who sent him to the slammer. He’ll get help from his loyal gang members, but they’ll have to deal with crooked police officers and rival street thugs.

Think he'll maybe make this one less pretentious and up its own arse than Revolver was?
