Paul Giamatti has signed on to star and produce a biopic based on the life of cult sci-fi writer Philip K. Dick. The movie is being developed by Anonymous Content and Electric Shepherd Productions with Tony Grisoni writing the script that will focus on author's life and his fiction works, including elements of his last unfinished novel, The Owl in Daylight. Dick, who died in 1982, wrote nearly 50 books and numerous short stories, with at least seven being adapted for the bigscreen, including Blade Runner, Total Recall, Minority Report, and A Scanner Darkly.
