Headline: Deschanel replaces Pink in Joplin Biopic!

Yup she's been attached to the project for YEARS, but now just as the movie is ready to roll Pink has dropped out of the Janis Joplin biopic.

Thankfully director Penelope Spheeris has a quality replacement lined up in the form of Zooey Deschanel.

A start date of November is being planned for the flick.
