Karl Urban looks to have been signed up for the lead role in The Weinstein Co.'s sci-fi triller Outlander. The movie will be an adventure about a man from another galaxy who crash-lands on Earth at the time of the Vikings, bringing with him an alien predator. Howard McCain will direct from a script he co-wrote with Dirk Blackman. Filming starts in October.
