News comes down the wite my Jon Favreau's MySpace blog and Aint It Cool that Robert Downey Jr. will be playing Iron Man/Tony Stark in Fav's next flick Iron Man.

Not exactly who you might have expected as let's be brutally honest here, Downey Jr. is not exactly box office gold, and never really has been.

Maybe Fav's is going for the idea of keeping Downey Jr. in the Iron Man suit so he can't get out and have another drug relapse?
