Headline: James Cameron finds Sanctum!

James Cameron has signed on to co-write and produce James Cameron's Sanctum for Rogue Pictures.

He will write the script with John Garvin, with Gary Johnstone directing.

And it will keep up Cameron's long standing interest (or obsession?) with deep sea diving with the plot following deep-sea diving team headed by a father and son. When the team heads to uncharted depths, a life-threatening crisis occurs.

You'd think because Cameron was involved that the flick would be a budget buster, but no the aim is to bring the movie in around the $20 million mark.
