Headline: Bryan Singer inks on for Superman Returns 2!

Word reaches us today that Bryan Singer has inked a deal to direct another Superman movie.

The flick is tentatively being pencilled in for a summer 2009 release date.

No word on which of the cast will return, but seeing as how Warner Bros. has an option on Brandon Routh I think its safe to say he'll be in the blue tights again.

No word on script or budget yet, but its widely thought that the budget will have to be a LOT less than the rumoured $270 million for Superman Returns.
